Appropriate Assessment Screening, Natura Impact Statements, Ecological Reports & Ecological Impact Assessments

Kingfisher Environmental Consultants work closely with a number of Architectural Firms and Engineers, State Bodies and Private Clients to prepare cost-effective Appropriate Assessments Screening Reports and Natura Impact Statements (NIS), Ecological Reports and Ecology Impact Assessment Reports (EcIA).  We have prepared in excess of 150 AA Screening and NIS documents and have extensive case law and practical knowledge of the Habitats Directive and Legislation.  We work all over Ireland and offer Ecological Reports by a qualified Ecologist in Donegal.

Our company has a strong background in ecology and flora and fauna assessments.  Indeed we are Full  Members of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management CIEEM.  We have undertaken a large number of flora and fauna impact assessments for one-off houses through to multi-million euro green field development sites.  We hold full Professional Indemnity Insurance.

In a private context Fred Symmons runs a hugely popular and successful "Wild Food, Foraging and Nature" Blog on Facebook: "Forager Fred's Wild Food and Nature Blog" and writes extensively on wild food and nature with over 7,500 followers.  He also offers Foraging Talks, Walks and workshops across Ireland for Food Festivals; Heritage Weeks and private events.
